At Dover Lanes, Henry Lorenzo finished with a 757 series that included a high game of 279 in the Dover Handicap Majors while Benny DeJesus posted a 728 series and Val Johannessen tossed a 277 game.
In the Dover Jets competition, Lupe Zaragoza fired the high game of 280 in his 736 series while Wilson Garcia finished with the high three-game total of 739 that included a 277 game.

Kacie Peters topped the Dirty Dozen, recording a 723 series that included a 277 game while Dan Richards registered a 725 series in the Dover Jets competion with a high game of 265. Kevin Martin had a 702 series in the Dover Merchants League, with a top single game effort of 266.

Dover Lane Highlights for week ending January 19, 2002

700s are commonplace on Dover lanes

Four bowlers lit up the Spanish American League scoring tables with 700 series to highlight the local bowling scene last week. George Mendoza topped all of the keglers with 750 series that included a 276 game. Angel Cordero and Ralph Marrero finished with three-game pin counts of 709 while Dave Shann, Jr. turned in a 700 series.
A trio of keglers surpassed the elite 700 plateau in the Dover Jets League. Henry Kent led the way with a 735 that included a high game of 258 while Mike Patruno finished with a 724 and best single game of 254. Dan Richards posted a 701 three-game pin count with a top single effort of 242.
