22nd Annual NJSCA North-South All Star Games Monmouth University was the site of the 22nd Annual New Jersey Scholastic Coaches Association North-South All Star Basketball Games on Saturday, March 25, 2000. The North All Stars won the boys contest 146-122 while the South All Stars prevailed in the girls encounter by a score of 91-79. Michael Cleaves of Pateson Kennedy netted 27 points to capture MVP honors while Hackensack's Elijah Bland hit the hoop for 22 points and Montclair's Alto Virgil dented the cords with 20. South Jersey, which claimed all six girls group state titles this season, was led by MVP Kris Quinn of Gloucester Catholic who tickled the twine with 19 points while Voorhees' Susan Altman popped 14 points into the basket. |
